Forfar in Flower

A non-profit making community group, dedicated to improving the local environment.

The group takes care of many areas around Forfar in a variety of ways: growing on plug plants to go out in hanging baskets and planters around town, overwintering begonias and growing them on, also for hanging baskets, weeding, planting, strimming grass, sweeping paths, and basically maintaining the many flower beds that they have planted with shrubs and perennials. Some areas are quite mature now and look fabulous.

The group’s sponsored 'tattie boxes' have been a big hit, and last year (2023) their wildflower meadow and sunflowers at the entrance to the town were spectacular.
