Community Roots

Community Roots, based in West Kilbride, has its roots in a covid response support group. Formed by people with a well-being focus, they have the Village Larder, a subsidised food with dignity initiative that also redistributes food that would otherwise be wasted. It also has a social gardening initiative, Social Horticulture for Experts & Dummies (SHED), and a community garden where they grow vegetables to support the Village Larder.
