2021 Certificates Level 5 - Outstanding
Certificate of Distinction

The Recovery Garden Group welcomes people in recovery from substance misuse, family members and friends. They meet weekly at Hazlehead nurseries in a poly-tunnel as part of a council initiate. They grow vegetables, fruit and plants, for themselves or for supplying to a cooking group the charity also runs. The group looks after a planter in Aberdeen city centre, which is a place to remember loved ones lost through addiction. They hold an annual plant sale to raise funds and work with the local business improvement company, Aberdeen Inspired, to provide pot planters for some local businesses to display.

In 2019, Alcohol and Drugs Action Recovery Garden Project was awarded a Certificate of Distinction to further recognise the groups' achievements.
