Kittybrewster Congregational Church / 40th Aberdeen Boys' Brigade Company
During the pandemic, the BB took over a piece of waste ground, on a main road, Powis Terrace, Aberdeen. Supported by a few locals and staff they removed litter, rubbish, grass cut and undergrowth partially cleared. They planted a few plants. The city council provided a large flower box. At Remembrance they put a Poppy Wreath on a tree, visible to passers-by. Christmas they lit up trees with lights (with grant from the city council).
Phase 2, flower planting will continue, and a small flower bed prepared. Grass will be cut and undergrowth to be cut back even further.
