Kincardine O'Neil In Bloom
This group aims to bring together members of the community to work on a range of horticultural and environmental projects. Due to changing circumstances, village residents are now encouraged to adopt one of the group’s 50+ flower tubs. Other projects this year include hedge planting to provide a barrier between a footpath and a busy road, and the adoption of a flower border, replacing annuals with herbaceous perennials, as part of the Aberdeenshire Council’s Greenspace Project. A community consultation is also underway to consider wildflower areas to improve biodiversity.
