Balerno Village Gardeners

A sub group of Balerno Village Trust, this group of volunteer community gardeners is endeavouring to improve the landscape of Balerno by planting and encouraging others to plant and maintain areas in the village to make it an attractive area in which to live, work, and visit.

The group is involved at least five locations in the village, and at the monthly farmers market where they offer plants and produce to the community and use sums raised to improve planting and purchase seeds etc.
