Kirkcaldy Old Kirk Trust
Kirkcaldy Old Kirk Trust is a community project run by volunteers to provide a welcoming environment around the historic church, open for services, and a community venue for concerts, local meetings and events. The beautiful stained-glass windows are admired by visitors, and climbing the 15th century tower is popular, with magnificent views over the river and the town. The group maintains the churchyard flower borders for Fife Council, with colourful interest appreciated by passers-by. Across the road, one of the tenants in the church halls complex has created, with volunteer friends, a "Secret Garden" from a neglected patch of ground.
In 2019, Kirkcaldy Old Kirk Trust was awarded a Certificate of Distinction to further recognise the groups' achievements.
