The Glebe Greenspace Project

Certificate of Distinction
The Glebe Greenspace Project is run by local volunteers, with the occasional help from other people from the community. It has also received help and support from local farmers, the church and the East Lothian Council Countryside Rangers.
Volunteers have different interests, motivations and principles but the project is bound together by a shared vision: a passion for working outside together, for sharing knowledge about gardening, plants, wildlife, for learning from one another, and for practicing the traditional skill of scything. Stopping to have a chat every now and then is a really important part of the project and the volunteers have all got to know each other better as result of this.
In 2019, Glebe Greenspace Project was awarded a Certificate of Distinction to further recognise the groups' achievements.
