TACT Healthy Park

The Tenants Association Coatshill Thornhill (TACT) group, based in Blantyre, was established in 1978. The group had a desire to further engage with the community and develop a disused piece of land. Many years in the planning, in 2009, the land was turned into TACT Healthy Park and this brings considerable benefit to the community and the environment. The ethos of the Park is to promote healthy eating and healthy lifestyle and is accessible to the wider community. All the produce (onions, carrots, leeks, potatoes, tomatoes, cucumbers, onions, raspberries and strawberries to name a few!), are available to the community for voluntary donations. The volunteers in the Healthy Park work all year round.
