South Seeds at the Govanhill Community Garden

South Seeds’ is in its second year of delivering weekly gardening sessions to residents on behalf of Govanhill Housing Association at the Govanhill Community Garden.

This fully accessible space on the Southside of Glasgow, provides the local community with a place to learn how to grow fruit, vegetables and ornamental plants. South Seeds has also delivered workshops on building raised beds, and attendees used the skills learned to transform their own shared tenement gardens.

The garden is a place where residents can escape the hustle and bustle of city life and experience calm in a safe and welcoming environment.
