Queen St Community Garden runs along the railway station in Broughty Ferry in the local car park. It has long been a haven for insects as it has a rich and varied collection of wildflowers and pollinator plants. Managed by pupils at Grove Academy and local adult volunteers, it continues to bring colour and life into an urban landscape. This year the group hopes to launch its new wildflower app which will help people learn more about the plants that grow at the site.
In 2018, Queen Street Community Garden was awarded a Certificate of Distinction to further recognise the groups' achievements.
