Perth Station Garden Club

Nurturing Nature is the group’s aim whilst it creates a biodiversity garden from what was disused scrub land completely overgrown and neglected. There are now ponds, an orchard of native Scottish variety apple trees, a wildflower section, raised vegetable beds and a herbaceous border. There is also a bird feeding station, beside the group’s pride and joy the Summer House complete with living roof which is used for meetings, biodiversity blitzes and fundraising activities. The group aims to recycle and reuse at every opportunity in support of the aims of Zero Waste Perth.
