Regular events, courses, workshops and volunteer days enable people to:

- Learn new skills
- Socialise
- Learn about the environment
- Take part in team building activities
- Keep fit and healthy
- Spend time outdoors.
The gardens are open three days a week and anyone can volunteer on a drop-in basis.
