Kinghorn Harbour Residents and Environmental Group
The group provides sustainable plants and flowers and maintains existing planters and barrels in and around Kinghorn Harbour to sustain year-round interest. The aim of the group is to provide a pleasant atmosphere for residents, visitors and users of the ‘Fife Coastal Path’ which passes through the area. The group also has a regular beach clean and carries out a survey on behalf of the Marine Conservation Society. The group enters the village scarecrow competition and, in 2019, came third in its category. It has been actively involved with SEPA and other national and local bodies recently in a successful attempt to improve water quality.
