Friends of Old St Michael's (Crieff)

Friends of Old St Michael's was established to protect the heritage of one of the oldest parts of Crieff after the local authority ceased maintenance of the burial ground within the site. As well as headstones dating back to the early 1700's, the site contains a 250-year-old church and the remains of Crieff Parish School. The group has developed an abandoned site in the heart of Crieff into a peaceful area containing a memorial garden with planting, paths, benches and seating, where the community gather to sit, talk, attend the group’s events and watch the world go by.
