Airyhall School

The school is committed to being eco-friendly and this is embedded in its curriculum. Alongside ‘It’s Your Neighbourhood’ (the school received an Outstanding level of achievement in 2019), it also takes part in Keep Scotland Beautiful's Eco School Scotland programme and has earned five Green flags. The school's Eco Group consists of pupils from each class, who meet regularly to discuss ideas for the school. In 2019 – 2021 the school is working on Litter, School Grounds and Waste Management and will focus on its school grounds, community garden and Slopefield Allotments. It is also taking part in the council’s ‘Clean Up Aberdeen’ campaign.
