Action Old Kilpatrick

Following a series of public meetings, Action Old Kilpatrick (AOK) was set up by local residents who love and want to protect the uniqueness of the village. AOK has three main strands which are: 1. Environment - monthly litter picks, restoring and maintaining public benches, enhancing village entrance signage with planters; 2. Horticulture - developing numerous planting sites throughout the village, monthly maintenance days for planting sites, use of ex-council greenhouse for bringing on plants, installed four planters at railway station; 3. History/Heritage - heritage funded oral history project which produced a book and two audio walks, and involvement in Antonine Wall project.
