The Village Garden is a network of community organisations and individuals working to develop a new green community space in Linwood. From care homes to nurseries, they all work together to create a community needs-based space. The group is aiming to transform an abandoned A5 side Football pitch into raised beds, a sitting area, a play area for children and a sheltered outdoor space. It has already consulted the wider community and is in the planning stages for this new community area.
