The Friends of Westfield Park

The Friends of Westfield Park is a group passionate about improving and enhancing
Westfield Park in the Bridge of Don area to the north of Aberdeen. It does this by involving the local community in its improvement and holds regular volunteer sessions throughout the year.

The group also aims to hold two public events each year. In the past, the Friends have organised an evening bat walk in the park and a fairy door trail throughout the park, both very well attended events.

The group has involved many younger members of the community, they have learned how to make bug hotels or how to plant bulbs. Small hands are always a huge help when bulb planting!
