Queens Cross Housing Association

Woodside Garden.jpg

Queens Cross Housing Association has three community growing space projects: Woodside, Dundasvale and The Courtyard (Wester Common) community gardens, which are all situated in urban areas.

These provide vital well-being spaces for people to enjoy. Weekly drop-in sessions are provided during the main growing season for people to learn about growing from seed and other horticultural skills.

Woodside Garden is the largest site and provides 26 raised beds which are allocated to people and families to grow their own produce. It also has a poly-tunnel and communal growing areas for community growing activities.

The Courtyard Community Garden (Wester Common) is located outside The Courtyard Cafe where outdoor seating is provided. A new Community Pantry is soon to open there also.
