Inverleith Allotments

Inverleith Allotments is a well-established Council run site in Edinburgh, which just celebrated its centenary. The site has around 175 tenants.

A small and enthusiastic committee arranges communal activities to bring the site together to improve the experience for everyone. Current projects include:

• Providing shredding of green waste for communal composting
• An annual show
• Tattie Boiling
• Apple Pressing
• Making kestrel/owl nesting boxes
• Bulk purchases of compost, potatoes, onions and leeks
• Skip 'bring and recycle' weekend.
