Inverleith Allotments

Inverleith Allotments is a well-established Council run site in Edinburgh, which just celebrated its centenary. The site has around 175 tenants.
A small and enthusiastic committee arranges communal activities to bring the site together to improve the experience for everyone. Current projects include:
- Providing shredding of green waste for communal composting
- An annual show
- Tattie Boiling
- Apple Pressing
- Making kestrel/owl nesting boxes
- Bulk purchases of compost, potatoes, onions and leeks
- Skip 'bring and recycle' weekend.
