Friends of Holmhills Wood Community Park

Holmhills Wood Community Park is a large greenspace, proposed LNR located at Greenlees Road to Langlea Drive. There are many entrances - the main ones include Greenlees Road, Cathkin High, West Coats Road or the path behind the Lawburn pub off Western Road.

There are three ponds, pathways and woodland areas. There is also a large grassed area good for dog walkers.

Wildlife sighted in the area includes Roe deer, dragonflies, frogs, toads, newts and lots of bird life including woodpeckers and chiff chaffs.
