Friends of Douglas Park

Douglas Park is a small pocket park, based in Cambuslang, Glasgow. Douglas Park has been a public open space and community garden since 1905/1906. However, its use as a garden declined and the site was put up for sale for housing in 2015. The park was saved by the community and is now managed by 'Friends of Douglas Park' for the purpose of restoring it to a well-tended park and open space. The group aims to restore the amenity value of the area, improve the biodiversity and provide a usable community green space for everyone to enjoy.
