Beith Orr Park Neighbourhood Watch
The Neighbourhood Watch group began in 2007 to address anti-social behaviour in the area.
The group is very much involved in all town activities and has established a well-used community garden and recently introduced a book swap which has been very popular.
The garden produces lots of fruit and vegetables, free to anyone who cares to take them. There is also a wild area to attract insects.
The group also runs an annual Chainsaw Carving day in September. This day has provided several beautiful carvings which are now on display throughout the town. This is a whole community event where all groups and clubs join in and promote themselves.
