Garden for Life at Gardening Scotland

Every year, the Garden for Life Forum members exhibit in the Garden for Life area (previosuly called Living Garden) at Gardening Scotland - the national gardening and outdoor living show and Scotland’s gardening festival.

In 2020, Gardening Scotland will run from 29 -31 May at The Royal Highland Centre in Edinburgh.

Visitors to the Garden for Life area can chat with forum members to find out more about each organisation, explore how to garden for nature through the centrepiece show garden, and attend one of the exciting and informative workshops that run throughout each day.

For the fifth year running, the Forum is delighted to work with Keep Scotland Beautiful to offer a 'One Planet Picnic pocket garden' competition for young people aged 3-18 from across Scotland. 2020 themes include: Wildlife Gardening, One Planet Picnic, our 20th birthday or the Year of Coasts and Waters 2020. Pupils are invited to create exciting and unusual designs that use plants that attract wildlife, edible plants, and that reuse something which would otherwise have been thrown away.

To find out more, visit the One Planet Picnic Pocket Garden web page or view the 2020 competition brochure.
