The Blooming Belters (Tranent)

The group was set up in 2017 and, at the presentation given to the judges, it was explained how A Place of No Importance - APONI - had turned into A Place of Great Importance – APOGI. Barrier and hanging baskets through the town have a good mix of plants, with thought given to colour schemes and impact. The red phone box planting was quirky and unique and there is permanent and seasonal planting throughout.
