Gifford Community

Four key organisations within the small village of Gifford in East Lothian are involved. The Gifford Community Council, Horticultural Society, Community Woodland and Yester Estate

In 2021, Gifford Community won the New Entrant Award: ‘Bloom’ activities in Gifford are supported by four local groups and supporters, but, there are twenty-five groups who support each other across the community. This activity has been so important recently, and the village has pulled together by adapting through the Covid19 period. Also very active in the community is the local Estate, which endeavours to be part of the village fabric and offers access to estate woodlands and walled gardens.
