Dunkeld and Birnam in Bloom

The group started in 1995 and have tackled varied projects: big – St Ninian’s Garden in Dunkeld, ongoing - Woodland Walk leading into Torwood Park and Beatrix Potter Walk, both Birnam. They also care for various planters, tubs and beds that are scattered around both villages, with planting of shrubs, perennials, and wildflower areas to encourage a good diversity of wildlife, birds and bees.
As they strive to enhance both villages and create pride in their corner of Scotland, the access to nature benefits their wellbeing, while chatting to others shares knowledge and helps them all learn and appreciate nature more.
