Cupar in Bloom was formed in March 2004 with eight members, and currently has around 20 volunteers. The group has, over the years, added to its stock of planters and areas (e.g. Tarvit Pond) which the volunteers maintain all year round.

The group has developed links with various community groups including Scouts, Rotary, Y Young Gardeners, the Fruit and Blossom Group (FAB) and has been Station Adopters for many years. In the last three years, the group has established a base courtesy of Elmwood SRUC which houses its shed, compost facilities and polytunnel where the volunteers bring on all the group’s plug plants.
