Coupar Angus Pride of Place

Pride of Place was formed in 2006 with the main objective of restoring pride to the town through the physical environment and socially uniting the community through support for social activities. This was in response to a local community consultation that identified the need to improve both the appearance to the town and social regeneration. A successful bid for a Heritage Grant greatly improved the built environment, and Pride of Place has worked hard in restoring pride within the community with seasonal floral displays and environmental improvements. The group has close links with other groups within the town and the local school.
