The group's main objective is to continually strive to make the Village an attractive and clean environment for the community to live in. The group encourages the younger generation to take part in all its activities, ranging from regular litter picks and educating them on biodiversity and recycling projects. The Village also has a proud Mining heritage which the group continues to honour.
