Newarthill Community Council

Through the community council, a group of volunteers has provided and maintained flower rail planters and tyre planters within the village in 2020. There is also a very active volunteer group which, individually, and as a group carries out litter picks within the village on a regular basis. The community council has provided extra litter/poo bins that are emptied by volunteers and has an excellent relationship with council colleagues who are only a phone call away. The group takes a pride in the village and tries to provide a high standard for everyone to enjoy.
