The main aims for Kinnesswood in Bloom are to make the village a good place for people to stay and bring up their families, and for the many visitors who come and look around the village and the surrounding area. The group has good support from the villagers, in both donations and helping to keep the village as good and clean as possible. Both adults and children help out, and the group also has a good working partnership with the local primary school - some of the members visit the school and work with the children, passing on their knowledge of gardening and horticulture so the children can see where some of the food they eat comes from.
