Inverurie Environmental Improvement Group

Inverurie Environmental Improvement Group (IEI) is a local horticultural charity committed to improving the wellbeing of the local community by enhancing the Town Centre with floral displays, organising an annual best garden competition, encouraging local schools to participate in environmental activities and maintaining the gardens of Sheltered Housing residents.

IEI also works closely with the Ury Riverside Park Trustees in creating a public park in the floodplain, Inverurie Community Council and local authority Councillors in organising regular litter picks, Grampian Opportunities mental health peer groups, Inverurie Rotary initiatives and the Pitscurry Project service users who plant up the hanging baskets.
