But the action required in each sector may be quite different, which is why we offer 9 types of Sector-Based Accredited Climate Emergency Training to give contextual learning.

Who is this training for?
This training provides a fantastic opportunity for businesses/organisations involved with a specfic sector to consider climate change impacts and start/advance their planning for net zero.
Your organisation might be currently working in the sector, supporting actions related to that sector, or simply interested in the area.
This training can be delivered for anyone within your organisation, and at any level and role.
Why take this training?
This training provides sector-specific content to help upskill organisations and people, so they have contextual knowledge required to successfully respond to the Climate Emergency and move towards net zero.
- Understand the science of climate change and the meaning of terms like 'Climate Emergency', ‘global warming’, ‘climate change’, ‘net zero’ and ‘carbon footprint’.
- Understand how each sector will be impacted by climate change.
- Understand sources of greenhouse gas emissions, in each sector and your organisation, plus practical actions to tackle emissions.
- Learn how tackling emissions can help you to develop more efficient, cost-effective and resilient operations.
What certification will you get?
- All of our Sector-Based courses are accredited to meet the Carbon Literacy Standard by the Carbon Literacy Project, and participants that successfully complete the courses receive a certificate confirming that they are Carbon Literate.
- Organisations can move towards Carbon Literate Organisation status.

What's the training format and options for adaptation?
- We offer the live online sessions as four 1-hour sessions or two 2.5 hour sesssions.
- For most of the sectors we can work with you to help insert you own materials into the live sessions and self-study materials.
