Take Action on Climate Change

Following the agreement made on 12 December 2015 at the United Nations Climate Change Negotiations in Paris we all need to work hard to reduce our own carbon emissions.

Whether you are an individual or are representing an organisation Keep Scotland Beautiful has provided a number of ways to help enable you to take action on climate change, both through our own programmes and signposting to third party organisations. We see it as part of our work to help make Scotland clean, green and more sustainable.

Community Groups

Keep Scotland Beautiful offers free training, support and resources through the Community Action Support Programme for any community group that wishes to learn more about climate change and how to tackle it. We also signpost to organisations and support across Scotland that can help you tackle climate change.

Businesses

Business support for climate action

Businesses not only impact on Scotland’s emissions because of operations and activities taking place here, but they also have a role to play on global emissions. There's support to reduce carbon emissions available through our Local Environmental Quality work at Keep Scotland Beautiful and a host of other organisations.
