Climate emergency training

We help organisations understand the climate emergency and respond to the risks, opportunities and responsibilities ahead.

By taking part in our training you will be able to:

  • Understand how your organisation or community will be impacted by climate change.
  • Identify practical actions you can take to reduce emissions and future-proof your organisation.
  • Understand the science of climate change.
  • Appreciate the significant changes ahead as Scotland moves to a low carbon future.

Training options

  • We can develop and deliver a bespoke course for your organisation and context.
  • For larger organisations, we can train and support people in your team to deliver the training across your organisation.
  • You can join one of our taster training days at our office in Stirling. Check our Events Page for the next session.

Our approach

Our training takes a total of one day and can be delivered over one or two sessions. We're also developing online training that your staff can take part in while working from home during the current COVID-19 crisis. Every training session is:

  • Tailored to the context of your business or community.
  • Delivered in a language and format that works for your people.
  • Emphasises hope over despair.
  • Identifies practical actions that you can take at individual and organisational level.

Our courses are independently accredited by the Carbon Literacy Project giving you:

  • Confidence in course quality.
  • The opportunity for participants to be accredited as ‘Carbon Literate’ by the Carbon Literacy Project.

Why train with us?

We are the only Carbon Literate Training Orgaisation in Scotland and the only Scottish organisation to have attained the prestigious Gold accreditation from the Carbon Literacy Project for being a Carbon Literate Organisation.

Thank you to Keep Scotland Beautiful for providing us the opportunity to help our community get first-hand knowledge about climate literacy and more importantly take practical actions both collectively and individually to achieve a low-carbon footprint for a sustainable and environment-friendly lifestyle.
