Climate Emergency Training for charitable organisations
Are you a voluntary organisation looking to learn more about the climate emergency and build understanding and skills to make a positive difference in Scotland?
We are working with the Scottish Council for Voluntary Organisations on an exciting programme of training to help voluntary organisations and social enterprises tackle climate change and transition to a net zero society.
The training takes place every month between June 2022 to March 2023 and is available to book now via the links at the foot of this page.
About the training
The training consists of one day’s worth of learning (eight hours), which will be delivered online over two 2.5-hour live sessions, supported by self-study activities.
- Part one: An introduction to climate change / Climate impacts and adaptation
- Part two: Reducing emissions (mitigation) / Climate action and communications
The training will be accredited to meet the Carbon Literacy Standard, which is verified independently by the Carbon Literacy Project and successful participants will receive a certificate in Carbon Literacy.
