The 1,000th CCF project - VeloCommunities

Watch the uplifting short film about the VeloCommunities CCF project, run by Bike for Good in Glasgow. The project is widening access to cycling and helping the city become more sustainable. VeloCommunities is the 1,000th project to be supported by the CCF.

Young people speak out on climate change

Filmed and edited by young people during the summer of 2019, An-Dràsta! examines how the climate emergency is affecting the Western Isles. It is also a plea from our young people to protect our shared futures. The film was produced as part of the Community LED by Energy Champions project. This initiative is run by Urras Oighreachd Ghabhsainn and Urras Oighreachd Chàrlabhaigh and funded by the Climate Challenge Fund, with additional support from Bòrd na Gàidhlig and Highlands & Islands Enterprise.

A greener legacy

Greener Kirkcaldy won the Outstanding Contribution category at the 2018 CCF Awards. They have run nine CCF projects to help their community reduce local carbon emissions and have developed capacity to take action on climate change as an organisation, in the local community and Fife-wide.
