Growing Matters

Providing the opportunity for their volunteers to maintain and develop their physical and mental well-being in the beautiful setting of an old kitchen garden, which they are developing as a community resource. They are always anxious to recruit more volunteers and can offer a wide variety of experiences from basic gardening skills to DIY or simply a chance to meet other people. No gardening skills are required, as help and advice can be provided. They also provide periodic training courses in beekeeping and willow weaving, using material grown in the garden.

In 2023, Growing Matters received a Certificate of Recognition in the NatureScot It's Your Neighbourhood Pollinator Friendly Award.
