Upstream Battle Career-long Professional Learning programme

A Professional Learning Programme on the journey from Source to Sea

We're offering a free Career-long Professional Learning course designed to provide the tools and resources for educators to use source to sea litter as a context for nurturing STEM learning.

The programme will be delivered through a blended learning model combining face to face sessions with online learning. A series of twilight training sessions will cover topics including source to sea litter, Learning for Sustainability and Circular Economy to engage young people in STEM. In-person events will give participants chance to network with other STEM leaders and introduce key topics of the programme including LfS and the SDGs. A range of guest presenters will give context for source to sea litter education. It will build enquiry-based learning skills through self-led study activities. Participation in the course provides an opportunity to collaborate across schools, communities and partners in the STEM family to learn and share best practice.

At this time, this Professional Learning Programme is available to schools within the West Partnership only.

Please view or download the Overview Document for further details.
