“Doon the Water” to the Port
This garden celebrates the history, people and environment of Inverclyde which the class explored during their Outdoor Learning Community access time this term.

Lots of repurposing
We planted flowers to attract bees in the early art of the season as well as later on in the term, as well as planting herbs ( mint , chives, feverfew) and edibles like broad beans, strawberries and 3 types of lettuce.
We re-used and upcycled items from around the school and have also realized that not everything you plant actually grows.
We have had help from members of staff who donated plants as well as using Parklea (Branching Out) and obviously businesses for the pallets.
The garden will remain in situ outside Base 2 class for all to admire, although the statues will come indoors at night!
