Mini Lesson: Sustainable Transport & COP28

Did you know that transport accounts for a quarter of Scotland’s greenhouse gas emissions, with cars making up almost 40% of transport emissions?

Our friends from Sustrans share a lesson on sustainable transport and the climate change conference COP28 Learn how is it that so much of our greenhouse gases emissions come from our transport choices and the impact this has on the environment and our health. We'll also discuss the positive effect we could have if we make simple changes.

Sustrans works for and with communities, helping them come to life by walking, wheeling and cycling to create healthier places and happier lives for everyone. Sustrans are custodians of the National Cycle Network in Scotland, a network of signed paths and routes.  You might know their Hands Up Scotland Survey (HUSS)
