Mini Lesson: Living Streets
This Mini Live Lesson is part of a series of shorter sessions for your class or Eco-Committee featuring the work of experts and organisations, and advice on how they can take action. Designed with upper primary in mind but suitable for all ages.
Living Streets is the UK charity for everyday walking. Their mission is to achieve a better walking environment and inspire people to walk more and where walking is the natural choice for everyday local journeys.
Living Streets offer the Walk to School Challenge also known as WOW - a pupil-led initiative where children self-report how they get to school using the interactive WOW Travel Tracker. Travel sustainably once a week for a month, and receive a badge.
We are grateful for the support of our friends at Living Streets for making this lesson possible.
