Events

We run free events to support Climate Challenge Fund Grant Recipients and other community-led organisations across Scotland to take action on climate change.

Events we run include:

• Specific training to support CCF Grant Recipients to run their projects.
• CCF Information Surgeries and webcasts for those interested applying for funding (available when the CCF is open for applications).
• A variety of training, networking and peer-to-peer learning opportunities to help community-led organisations from across Scotland build their capacity to tackle climate change.

For most events run by CCF Grant Recipients in your local area it's best to find the projects using our online map and then check their website and social media for updates.

We also feature a variety of events run by CCF Grant Recipients and third party organisations on the CCF Facebook Page and CCF Twitter account where possible.

Due to the impact of coronavirus, the Climate Challenge Fund (CCF) events programme for 2020 will be run via webinars until further notice.

CCF webinar series (May/June 2020)

We are delighted to offer a series of eight one-hour webinars that will help your community build capacity to tackle climate change. Practical advice will be available on a wide variety of relevant topics including running online events, data collection, behaviour change, audience engagement, climate anxiety, repair and reuse, shared travel and adaptation.

Each webinar will feature plenty of time for questions and discussion in addition to presentations.
