Ross joined Keep Scotland Beautiful in December 2018 as Communications Intern, providing support across our main communication channels and assisting with our three main campaigns: Clean Up Scotland, Roadside Litter and Upstream Battle.

Ross has worked as a journalist in a number of capacities, taking the position of editor-in-chief at the University of Stirling’s student newspaper, Brig, as well as working with the BBC, The Herald and a volunteer Communications Officer for Mountaineering Scotland. In 2017, Brig Newspaper was awarded the SPA’s first Best Publication in Scotland award under his editorship.

In 2017, Ross graduated from the University of Stirling with a first class BA (Hons) in Politics and Journalism, and received a Postgraduate Diploma in Scottish Literature in 2018.

Outside the office, you will usually find Ross somewhere running or walking the Scottish hills, or cycling in the gorgeous Scottish countryside.
