Peter joined Keep Scotland Beautiful as Commercial Services Manager in 2013 with the responsibility for the management, development and expansion of our products and services portfolio.
He is now Business Development Director, a member of the Executive Team, assisting with business innovation, product development and new service design to meet client needs. Peter is the commercial lead on selling products and services to relevant organisations in the public, private and voluntary sectors.
Peter has more than 25 years’ experience working in the business sector at a senior level. He was Managing Director of Joint Venture ScotAsh Ltd, Associate Director of the Edinburgh Centre for Carbon Management and held senior management positions with Lafarge, Bardon Aggregates and Pioneer UK.
His executive experience is underpinned by four degrees, a BSc in Geology from Southampton University, an MSc in Environmental Technology from Imperial College, London, an MSc in Wildlife Biology and Conservation from Napier University and an MBA from Henley Business School.
Peter has been a Board Trustee of the Royal Zoological Society of Scotland, and was for 2 years a Trustee of the Dunblane Development Trust
