Michelle joined Keep Scotland Beautiful in 2016 to develop Low Carbon Skills Film Resources for secondary schools across Scotland which demonstrate sustainable business practice and encourage young people to look at their own behaviours as consumers. She also managed the E3 Energy, Enterprise and Environment project. Working with teachers and young people, the project developed and improved an understanding of energy issues in the context of sustainable development and climate change.
Michelle is currently managing the Young Reporter’s Scotland programme, as well as continuing to develop and run Professional Learning Programmes in the Education & Learning team at Keep Scotland Beautiful.
With over 15 years of experience working within Education, Michelle has delivered an array of Professional Learning Programmes for Teachers and designed and delivered lots of exciting and innovative projects in schools using film and podcasting technologies which inspire and engage young people.
Michelle has a BA in Business & Childhood & Youth Studies from The Open University and is highly experienced in film and podcasting production and editing and website development.
