Glenn Sharpe
Glenn joined Keep Scotland Beautiful in January 2016 as a Finance Officer and has since developed his role to be our Finance Manager and now the Head of Finance & Charity Secretary.
Glenn is responsible for managing all day-to-day financial activity of the charity and supports the Chief Executive Officer with all other financial matters.
Glenn's early career saw him serve 22 years in the Royal Navy in various Catering, Management, Logistics and Accounts roles serving all over the world in a variety of ships. His final sea service was aboard HMS Ark Royal. After leaving the Armed Forces in 2007.
Glenn embarked on an accounting education programme and after 12 years study Glenn finally completed his professional exams in September 2017. Glenn has seen his accounting and finance experience grow in a variety of sectors for the RAF at Leuchars and in Construction, Data Hosting and Publishing companies in Dundee and is now enjoying his continued professional development with us.
In his spare time Glenn lends his financial expertise as volunteer for a community benefit society which successfully opened the doors to its village shop in 2019 and is the Treasurer for his local parish church. . Glenn has a keen interest in our environment and enjoys the great outdoors of Scotland and beyond with his trusty dachshunds Steve and Arthur.
