Magdalena Trifonova
Magdalena is a Senior Officer, Training and Accreditation at Keep Scotland Beautiful and her role involves the development and delivery of Climate Emergency Training helping individuals and organisations across Scotland respond to the Climate Emergency. Magdalena is accredited Carbon Literacy Trainer and has delivered training to a range of different organisations including local authorities, community groups, charity organisations, housing associations, construction companies and public sector organisations. Her role also involves accreditation and audit services across different sectors.
Magdalena’s previous role at Keep Scotland Beautiful was a Development Officer supporting communities taking action on climate change through the Scottish Government’s Climate Challenge Fund.
Prior to joining Keep Scotland Beautiful Magdalena worked and volunteered within the environmental sector, both in Scotland and abroad.
Magdalena has an MSc in Environmental Management and Sustainability Science from Aalborg University, Denmark and a BSc in Geography from Sofia University, Bulgaria. She is particularly passionate about climate change communication.
